On the 1st April of 1984, a highly intellectual man Mr. Cheetarmal Ji Jhalani
laid the foundation stone of Ciba Masala Udyog Pvt. Ltd.,
as a manufacturer
. At that time, competition in Spice Business wasn't much as there were a few spices brands in the market.
After completion of post graduation, Mr. Cheetarmal Ji Jhalani had to make choice among two options; one was to either struggle in a job and other one was to carry forward the family business. In early 80's doing business wasn't considered a much promising thing but Mr. Jhalani saw a dream to do something out of the box which made him step into the field of business. After a hardship period of around 6 years, Mr. Jhalani saw a ray of hope in the strategies which were made by him to market products in towns and villages.
There is no denying the fact that more than 80% of the Indian population is rural and consumption of grounded spices, indian whole spices largely takes place in rural areas. Mr. Jhalani knows well that urban areas still have high branded spices to rely on but villages have none. However, days and nights, he worked hard to make a strong foothold in village areas. Slowly, rural people started liking the tadka of our widest assortment of spices like Achari Masala Powder, Amchur Powder, Black Salt Powder, Biryani Masala Powder, etc. In no time, popularity of our range started to rise and not just rural but urban areas based markets began advertising and marketing our Ciba Masala range. This happened with mere word of mouth publicity.
In the year 2001, people began losing interest in unpacked and open spices as markets got flooded with variety of grounded spices, indian whole spices which were attractively packed. However, keeping sync with market needs, we introduced our line of packed spices under name 'Ciba Taaza'.
Initial market response wasn't much but as we say quality makes its way to heart, and the matchless quality of our range made place in hearts of clients and we earned huge annual turnovers. Our range marketed under the name 'Ciba Taaza' enjoys the privilege of being first in line of branded spices in Rajasthan. Presently, we are working also as an exporter
